Welcome to My Artistic Journey: The Other Arts

At 73, I find myself at a crossroads where past experience meets renewed passion. I am an eclectic, modern, and postmodern artist who has spent decades exploring what I call The Other Arts—a realm of creative expression that thrives on experimentation, reinvention, and the blending of unexpected elements. These works are born from my lifelong desire to create a unique compendium of what I describe as The Other Arts: pieces that reflect art styles that are my own—styles I could potentially share with other artists, but which I strive to create through my personal art styles that define my body of work.
Over the years, I’ve come to accept that there’s little in the art world that can truly be called “new.” Yet, I believe that by mixing things up—by daring to experiment with what already exists—we open the door to The Other Arts. My work is not about following trends or fitting into molds; it’s about creating art that is meaningful, and reflects my personal art styles art that invites the viewer to become curious—curious enough to want to own the work and, in doing so, become part of it.
For 23 years, I stepped away from presenting my own art to teach others the joys of creativity. Teaching was its own kind of masterpiece—a way to nurture young minds and pass on the tools of expression. But now, as a retired art teacher, I feel the pull to return to my first love: making art for those who seek the other arts This is my great return, a chapter where I reintroduce myself not as a newcomer but as an artist on a quest with with decades of wisdom, experimentation, and passion behind him.
I believe deeply in the potential of The Other Arts. Each piece carries with it a timeless quality—a story and vision that I hope will resonate with collectors not only for its creativity but also for its ability to grow in significance and value over time. My work is created for those who love art for its own sake but also recognize its potential as an investment in something truly unique.
